How to tie a mecate or hackamore rein on a snaffle bridle with slobber straps

 
Place slobber straps through rings of snaffle. Take tassel end of mecate and push through slobber on the right with tassel facing out. Same on the left with popper facing out.
Pull tassel end out for slack to tie half hitch.
Wrap around and over top of slobber.
Push tassel through to form half hitch.

Pull popper end all the way until you have desired rein length.

On left form loop for half hitch and push popper through.
Form half hitch on left.
Complete mecate snaffle bridle.
